MDP continues to serve despite pandemic

Food insecurity and lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the communities we serve is an ongoing issue during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of our donors, MDP has made a financial contribution to our partners in Guatemala and Mexico to provide food, PPE, and other basic needs during the pandemic.

Our friends in Chiapas, Mexico have shared with us what a donation of $650 was able to provide to those in need:

  • 80 baskets containing sugar, pasta, rice, oil, oatmeal, and toilet paper

  • Cold medications and analgesic medications

  • Anti-bacterial gel and sanitizing wipes
