WHO WE ARE
SUSAN PELLER, CNP
Susan is a co-founder of MDP. She was looking for a way to use her nursing skills to give back to her community and world. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Mankato Clinic; however her best job has been as wife and mother to her husband Rich and their 3 children. She has traveled countless times to both Guatemala and Mexico.
CATHY DAVIS, MD
Dr. Cathy Davis is a board certified pediatrician and Bush fellowship trained in pediatric dermatology. She is the mother of 2 and grandmother of 1 . She has been a part of mission work since the early 90’s and has been part of Minnesota Doctors for People since it’s inception
LÍA PRICE
Originally from Guadalajara city in México, Lía has lived and worked as a medical interpreter in Minnesota since 1997. Having been blessed with a caring family, and fortunate enough to have received an education and to have good health, she was glad to find the opportunity to express her gratitude for God’s gifts by serving in Guatemala and México thru MDP. She has been involved with MDP since 2007.
RICH PELLER, MD
Rich is a board-certified family physician and father of three children. He has always had a call to mission work. He enjoys his yearly “working vacation“ to Mexico or Guatemala. It helps him remember why he got into medicine… To help people, especially those who need it most.
EMMA KIND
Emma began serving with MDP in 2012 after graduating from Minnesota State University-Mankato with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. She has volunteered as a medical interpreter on multiple mission trips for MDP and is a surgical scheduler at Mayo Clinic Health System. Emma lives in Mankato with her son, Jacob, and her Golden Retriever, Patch.
JOAN WESELY
Joan has been an active volunteer in the Mankato area for over 30 years. Since joining MDP in 2016, she has embraced the opportunity to extend her service outside our community, placing focus on stable growth of the program.
